    Brisben Fire District Notice is hereby given that the annual election of the Brisben Fire District will be held at the Brisben Fire Hall, Brisben, NY on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. The polls will be open from 6 PM to 9 PM. One Commissioner will be elected to serve a 5 year term.

  2. Art Lake Road # 35 from Sampson's Camp Dr. to the intersection of Waldon Rd.
  3. Stone Quarry Road #1 from Cseplo's to Paul Bedrey's

TOWN OF SMITHVILLE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING SNOWMOBILE ROADS
The following is a list of designated snowmobile roads in the Town of Smithville for the period Nov. 1, 2017-April 1, 2018:
Water (Mill) Street, Stone Quarry, Hammerle, North Tyner, South Tyner, Hattie Clark, Pollard, King, Robbins, Ludlow Road, Enggaard, Round Pond, Marvin, Pearl Street, Echo Lake Rd from the Broome Co. line to the Town of Greene line, Collyer, Krupp, Tucker, Windham, Carr, Cummings, Whitling, Shipton, German Hollow, Skillman-Hofmann, Nelson, Waldon, Winner, Fred Wilcox Rd., the portion of French Rd. from Fred Wilcox Rd. to the intersection of Winner Rd., Tarbell Rd, McBirney Rd. and Buckley Hollow. Also Art Lake Rd. on the plowed portion with a 5 mph speed limit. A Public Hearing in regards to the same will be held by the Smithville Town Board at the Community Center, 5285 State Hwy 41, Smithville Flats on Monday October 16, 2017, during the special meeting of the Smithville Town Board. All interested persons will be heard at that time.

    The proposed salaries of elected/appointed Town Officials are as follows:
    Highway Supt: $38,500.
    Councilmen: (4) $ 4,000. ($1,000. ea)
    Town Clerk: $ 5,500.
    Town Justice: $ 3,800.
    Town Assessor: $ 10,000.
    Tax Collector: $ 3,300.
    Town Supervisor $ 2,500.
